TAMU PANTS

My name is Tami Beracha Malchin. I was Born in Paris on October 2nd  1967, and spend my childhood between Paris, brussels and tel Aviv. Today, I live with my husband - Rami, and our kids -  Nadav, Ilie, Michaela and Roy, in a small village outside of Tel Aviv, after spending many years in a few spots on our globe, like Manhattan, San Francisco, Paris and Fontainebleau.

When I was 25 years old, I took my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in Manhattan , and started my first career as a graphic designer. At the age of 37, I made my first career change, and after completing a Master degree in Psycho-therapy, I tunneled my attraction for art to practicing Art Therapy with kids.

Art and creation have always been my passion, a destiny waiting to happen. When “TAMU” arrived, it turned to be love.

Tamu was created as a result of my personal desire to have my single, beloved, chicy but still comfortable, pair of pants ready for me, in my closet, ironed and well folded, every morning. That was too much to ask for, as I had only one of those… My closet was packed, but I still found myself trying to dig my one and only pants from the laundry basket. It is then, when it hits me – I’m going to design that ‘Single pants in a closet’, for me and for those who aren’t going to compromise on chic, comfort and quality.
